Helloween’s thirteenth album Gambling with the Devil is a power metal release, offering aggressive production and guitar solos that match its aggressive musical tone. The cover art recalls an oppressively dark carnival which suits Helloween’s aggressive tone well; however, I find its graphic aesthetics too amateurish for my taste; perhaps instead they should have chosen more classical designs such as their predecessor’s Keeper of Seven Keys – The Legacy instead.
